E-COMMERCE POLICY

 

Please carefully read the policies governing our “Emporium” store before purchasing. By using our site and buying goods from our store, you agree to and comply with our Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and this E-Commerce policy. If you disagree with our policies, please refrain from using our site.

Liability

We are not liable for goods once they are in the customer’s possession. We are not obligated to refund, exchange, replace, or compensate for damage to products that the customer has mishandled. For example, fingerprints on the white border of fine art prints, tearing, damaged corners, scratches on the print area from improper storage or protection, damaging works while handling, etc.

Per the consumer protection guarantee, compensation for damage is due if and when postal services impacted damaged products received or if faulty goods were released.

Please carefully and thoroughly read the product descriptions. We are not obligated to compensate customers who do not read the product description before purchasing. All prints come with a defined white border that is respective to the print in question and is included in the final dimensions listed with the product.

Returns and Refunds

 

We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds on our products. The only exception is shipping damage caused by the courier. Quality is strictly controlled because our hand-curated products are made in-house and in small batches.

Below are our policies for each product. Please read them carefully. We do our best to be as transparent as possible but are not liable for failing to do your due diligence by not reading our policies.

We do our best to offer colour accuracy when photographing artwork and products and representing them in our shop and across our Site. But please remember that screen calibrations vary between devices and may not show accurate colour. If calibration is of concern, we encourage you to view the product on multiple devices, such as a computer, iPhone, Android, tablet, etc., before purchase.

Prints

Every print is meticulously and carefully inspected several times throughout the production process before quality control is cleared for shipment. Only pristine fine art prints and reproductions are packaged and released for shipping.

Bespoke Items

Because of the nature of custom and handmade products, natural characteristics developed from the production process are not defects or damage. Items are made with extreme care and intent, so no two items will be identical.

 

Original Artwork

All original artwork purchases are final sale and as is. Originals are meticulously inspected before carefully packaging and custom tailoring an appropriate shipping container for the piece. Due to the nature of the original work, there will be no refunds or exchanges. We encourage you to reach out with questions or concerns before purchasing by emailing sales@gpollieana.com

 

Shipping Policy

 

Our tiny team is dedicated to shipping your orders as soon as possible. Once received, orders usually ship the following business day. Once orders ship, we cannot make any changes. If you need an address change, please notify us immediately so we can adjust. Please ensure you enter the correct information when purchasing.

Delivery

We ship across North America and Internationally. Shipping times can vary depending on the courier service and take up to two weeks domestically and three to four weeks internationally. We offer flat-rate shipping within Canada. For all other countries, a variable rate will be calculated at checkout based on your destination.

The shipping of original artwork will be arranged by quote at the time of sale and will not be available by cart.

Shipping delays can and may occur due to unforeseen circumstances from the courier. Unfortunately, these delays are out of our control, and delivery times may be outside of normal scope. All packages will include tracking for your peace of mind.

Duties and Taxes

Our shop operates in Canada, and we are not responsible for your destination country’s duties, taxes, and customs fees on any product purchased. As a customer, you are solely responsible for all costs associated with duties, applicable taxes, and customs in your respective country. These costs are determined by the customs agency based in the destination country, which may charge import taxes while some countries do not. The customs agency will notify the recipient by phone, mail, or email to pay these charges so the shipment can continue to its destination.

If you refuse to pay these additional amounts, your delivery will be returned to us. Provided the product is in its original condition, we will refund you the purchase cost, not including shipping fees.

All items are declared at purchase value for exporting, and documents will never be falsified.

Payment Gateway

 

All payments are processed through major and trusted third parties, such as PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Woocomerce Payments. We do not store or process credit card or payment information directly on our site.
