Hey everyone! I hope all is well.
As I woke up and prepared for my daily walk, I was struck by the beauty of the snow shimmering across the views. The fog settled into a tiny crevasse in the sky, creating a slight glow in the distance. It reminded me of the incredible beauty I’m lucky to witness daily in my backyard.
The cold weather wraps around me as I walk, bringing a serene silence that only nature can provide. The stillness stirs around and speaks its language of peace and tranquillity. During my daily walk, I surrender to all its beauty and manifest many magical, blissful moments that only come when one embraces silence with Mother Nature.
I also woke up to excellent news yesterday; I made the shortlist for the Woman United Art movement. Wow, what a way to start my day! I am very proud of myself for trying and putting myself out there. With so many people applying, knowing what to expect is hard. It might be easier not to apply at all, as the disappointment of rejection always creeps in.
However, I have learned that facing rejection is what builds resilience. I don’t worry about failure; I approach my work to improve and share. If I’m lucky, I’ll be chosen, and my work will reach a wider audience, which is fantastic. In December, I will find out who the winners are and keep my fingers crossed. This journey has taught me the value of resilience and determination, and I hope it inspires you as much as it has inspired me.
It’s too bad about the postal strike. Most of you who wanted a gift set are waiting for it to end, and I’m definitely hanging in there with you.
Some tiny little treasures will be added to the store. I’m so excited to share these with you. I only have nine of them, so keep an eye out for more information soon.
The Venice show is over, and my work is coming home. Next time, I will be there alongside my paintings. But I’m happy both pieces were shared with Italy and all its visitors. It was a great experience to have my work in an exhibition in Venice, something to proudly add to my CV.
I hope you have a great week, and we will catch up soon. Your support and encouragement mean the world to me. Goodnight, everyone. Take care and be safe.
Life’s journey,
– Gio
