  3. From Deer Sightings to Art Features: My Heartfelt Holiday Update

Good evening, everyone!

I hope this message finds you all well and that you are preparing and getting excited for the Christmas holiday celebrations. The weather outside has been cold, but it is still comfortable to walk in.

Two beautiful deer walked through my backyard the other day. It was breathtaking to see until Emma, my dog, chased after them, and they leaped like Santa’s reindeers in the sky. That was a sight you don’t get to see every day. I’m so glad I live out here. It’s quiet, but the inspiration is endless and perfect for an artist like myself who hunkers down and paints all day. But that’s what it’s all about sometimes: living life that best suits our needs, and this environment really helps me stay focused and creative to do what I do. I am sending everyone joyful holiday greetings from my back door from @Gpollieana.

We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude for all your kindness. Your unwavering support means the world to us, and I always strive to keep you updated on my journey of love and loss through social media. Each of you has played a significant role in my artistic journey, and I am genuinely grateful for that.

I have some exciting news: Create Magazine issue 48 is out, featuring a diverse range of artists and their unique perspectives. I eagerly await my copy so I can share my highlights with you in about a week. It’s thrilling to see my work, a series of paintings on love and loss, included in this issue.

I’m also thrilled that Art Queen Gallery will feature my story in their next issue, marking my first Italian-published story. I’ve also been selected for @WomenUnitedMagazine and will be added to the spotlight by curator Debbie Morton at @MortonContemporary Gallery. This feature is set to be released sometime in February or March, and I can’t wait to share these exciting moments with you.

I’m also thrilled to announce that Artist Talk Magazine has chosen to feature my story on January 25. Your support has made these fantastic opportunities possible, and I can’t wait to share these exciting moments with you.

These are the highlights of my work, and I am filled with happiness and gratitude for all the selections. I look forward to sharing more about my paintings on love and loss in 2025, and I can’t wait for all my new work to start rolling in.

Thank you to the recent collectors for purchasing my gift sets. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed creating them. I have been painting a lot lately but will take a few days off to eagerly share the festivities with my family; I can’t wait!

Mostly, I wanted to catch you up and wish you a Merry Christmas. I hope you have a safe and joyous holiday and look forward to reflecting on this incredible journey in a year-end throwback. Thank you, and please share!

As we bid farewell to this incredible year, I can’t help but feel excited for the new year ahead. But before we get there, let’s make the most of this Christmas. Stay safe, everyone!

I look forward to reconnecting with you in the coming days.

Life’s journey,
– Gio
