In the hush of November, may rembreance be our compass, love our offering, and art our Eternal Flame

Well, here we are in November. This month is a season of love and remembering for much of the world, as Remembrance Day approaches. For me, as an artist, November holds a special significance—it often stirs my reflections on sacrifice, devotion, and the quiet guardianship of memory.

The Circle of Life turns beneath November’s sky—
poppies bloom crimson, memory breathes eternal.
Love and loss entwine, life and death speak as one.
To remember is to honour,
To honour is to live with love.

November’s Quiet Power: A Season of Reflection

Hello everyone, I hope all is well. I have not been as connected to the internet as I would like, as I am working to complete my projects before the end of the year. Yet I’ve realized that pushing myself beyond my limits benefits no one. Illness often stems from ignoring boundaries, and I owe it to myself and my own trajectory to be honest. That is the beauty of being your own boss: freedom without restriction. I still work seven days a week, but my time is divided into many categories. Time is limited, not me—and I must remember that.

The Artist’s Journey: Devotion, Discipline, and Discovery

Behind the scenes, much has been unfolding: publications, writing, and the joy of discovery through words. I love the discipline of language, the way a single word can change our desire to face the unknown. For me, painting is the same joy—creating something from nothing, telling stories that evoke pictures, feelings, and truths on one’s life’s journey.

Language and Paint: Two Portals to Truth

Lately, I have opened up more of my world to others, sharing reels of poetry and images of my paintings, offering glimpses into my cathedral of joy that once remained private. It was sacred to me, and still is, as I hold it close to my heart. But I always knew that one day, sharing my paintings would be a kind of sacrifice. And in that sacrifice, I promised myself I would gain a deeper understanding. By giving unconditionally, I have received so much love in return—gratitude that humbles me, kindness that I can hardly describe.

Until Death Parts Me: A Devotion to Paint

Art is not for everyone, and the kind of art I create is not always easy to understand. Yet true art stirs the soul. It makes us feel, dream, and confront both truth and fantasy. These are not just images, but emotions that run through our veins, reminding us we are alive, breathing, and here to witness change. To give someone else this experience is priceless. That is why I share: because I want to live with love and passion for everything I do until death parts me from my paintings.

The Circle of Life: A Painting That Breathes

The Circle of Life is one such painting. It has turned my world upside down, honouring both joy and sorrow, love and loss, life and death. It has carried me back to places of no return, and yet taught me that remembrance is a gift. We must never forget where we come from, nor who we have become. Life is a path of choices—some good, some not—but always a path of learning. My paintings breathe, so I never forget my roots, and they remind me that living in the present is the most rewarding of all.

The Ripple Effect: Art in Conversation with the World

This month brings exciting news: I have a special interview written by Ewan Shah at Aatonau, which will be released on November 12th.

Another interview is already live at the Circle Foundation of Arts.

And I am also honoured to share that I’ve made the longlist for Women United Art Magazine. I look forward to the shortlist and the opportunity to be part of this year’s winners and finalists. So excited.

Living with Love: Art as Eternal Flame

November is a time of remembrance, but it is also a time of renewal. It is love carried forward, sacrifice transformed into legacy, and art offered as devotion.

May remembrance be our compass,
love our offering,
And art our eternal flame.

In November’s hush, the poppies bloom—
each petal a flame of memory.
Love and loss entwine,
life and death breathe as one.
To remember is to honour,
to honour is to live with love.
