Art Submission
I’m absolutely thrilled to be on the long list for the Women’s United Art movement. I’m eagerly anticipating making it to the final list in round two. It’s inspiring to see my work being shared and recognized. Whether I win or not, I’m proud of having the courage to participate in this journey. I’m excited to share this experience with you all and to have fresh eyes on my work.
Collectors Gift Box update
Part two of the collector’s gift box is on my Instagram, so check that out. The samples are beautiful, but I await the product shoot to highlight the prints. Soon, the whole collection will be available; I will keep you informed and can’t wait to share. I have received similar questions about the sizes of the print and cards. For those who want to buy frames ahead of time, the print size is 6.5 x 6.5 inches. The frame that comes with your gift set is 7 x 7 inches. The cards are 5.5 x 4.25 inches. Thank you for asking!
Here’s a little sneak peek at some proofs of the cards. They show a bit darker in our quick camera shots, but I assure you that Nicole is making sure the final prints are accurate to the colour of the originals. We will be showcasing their true beauty very soon with a product shoot.
On a personal note,
I wanted to discuss design, my work, and how I incorporate my baroque elements into a modern space. I have designed a home in the woods with Mother Nature in a modern, contemporary home. Lots of windows allow the light to flow in organically. Concrete floors give a sense of commercial space with a warm grey colour. My art has always had my fashion and design style infused with my blueprint, incorporating interior design aesthetics for my unique style that beautifully positions itself in modern living, Contemporary or traditional space.
The pieces alone can look overwhelming online or in a gallery space. But when paired with the proper aesthetics, they change their personality and perspective on how they settle in, making the room warm and infused with colour, especially in a modern space with plain elements that are calming and more relaxed. The painting comes alive with all its colour. You find yourself quite often staring at a piece and getting lost. I do, and so do my collectors. They say it has changed the way they see tenfold.
Designing a personal corner where a dressing room, bath, etc are located. It’s one of my favourite spots in the house. Concrete floors take you around a corner with stone-like slab walls, crystal chandeliers bringing in glimmering beauty that lights up the porcelain bath and tall, smokey glass-making division in a personal area—solid quartz counters to add a masculine touch. Most of all, the enormous art above the tub pulls the room together. Seeing that scale of art on the wall above the tub has brought me so much joy and happiness. It’s impressive.
A personal space constantly reminds me of the profound importance of art in my life. I often find myself sitting and admiring the paintings, not because I created or bought them, but because they make a unique space where it’s just me and the art, a truly priceless connection. Understanding the value of self-expression through art is a journey that brings endless joy and happiness.
As a private collector and individual, sharing my art is more than a choice. It’s about being surrounded by art and the many beautiful moments in a single day. I’m excited to make art accessible to everyone and to share these experiences with you all.
Life’s journey,
– Gio
